Olivier Harouard & Natasha Devyatkina

Natasha and Olivier are sucessful instructors, competitors and performers. They have won numerous contests and in April 2013 at the Balboa Rendez-vous, they were the first European couple to win the title of Champion IBC (International Balboa Championship) in the famous Balboa Pavilion in Newport Beach (USA)! They also placed 3rd at the highest ranked Balboa competition in 2011, the American Classic Balboa Championships. More than competing they enjoy social dancing and sharing their passion with others.

Anni Skoglund & Gašper Hrovat

Anni Skoglund (Sweden) and Gašper Hrovat (Slovenia) is an inspiring dance couple. Their style is playful, passionate and smooth. They share the love for the dance as their form of communication through rhythm, melody and harmony. To them it is the awareness of one another that make the couple dance so magic.

From a young age both of them danced several styles before getting into authentic jazz dances. Anni's background lays in Swedish folk-dance, waltz and fox-trot, meanwhile Gašper's in popular 90's Street dances. Eventually swing dance came across and met them in Herräng Dance Camp.

Now - performing, teaching and lecturing about swing dances, at home and abroad, has seen them as evolve into a couple that has won competitions with their vibrant style and superfast feet. But above all, social dance is their thing.

More Info

Registration opens May 16th.

Location:
The location for all Workshops and Parties is the new Hep Cat Club, Viktoriastraße 3B, 86150 Augsburg.
The entrance is directly at railway 1 of Augsburg Main Train Station. Imagine you step out of a train on railway 1. Then you go to the left to the next building (Helio Center). The door at the corner ist the entrance, it’s just 3 meters away from railway 1. You see the logo of „Regus“ there, our logo is still missing. You can find a plan on www.hepcatclub.com

Airport: The closest airport is Franz-Josef-Strauß Airport in Munich (MUC). From there take the public transportation to Munich central station and a train to „Augsburg Hauptbahnhof“. From the airport in Stuttgart (STR) there is a very cheap flixbus connection to Augsburg. Interesting flight options can be found from Memmingen Airport (FMM) by choosing Ryanair or Wizzair for example.

All of these airports above are between 60 - 90 minutes away from Augsburg by car and they have reasonable connections - between 90 to 120 minutes travelling time - by train or bus as well

Hotels: There are many hotels nearby, for example the Ibis hotels at Königsplatz or Hauptbahnhof. Both of them are in walking distance from the event location (3-5 minutes). We also heard from many students that the youth hostel in Augsburg is quite nice and a cheaper option - Expecially the breakfast should be nice there!

We can also recommend to stay at the Grandhotel Cosmopolis. It’s a very special place in Augsburg. Hostel, hotel and home for refugees at the same time and every room is designed by an artist. They also have the concept „Pay as much as you can“.

Workshops: Please understand that we allow only workshop attendants to enter the studio. This includes the bar area as well. If you did not book the currently running workshop please do not enter. Thank you :)

Food & Drinks: We will have a self-service bar for coffee, snacks, water and fruits.

Parties: The party pass covers both parties. For single Parties you can buy tickets at the door.

At least here are some nice places to visit in Augsburg:
Please check the opening hours, some of them are closed on Sundays or close early!
There are many nice places in Augsburg, but often they are a bit hidden, especially when you start at the Main Train Station. Don’t miss to walk through the „Lechviertel - untere Altstadt“. Maybe it’s also interesting to visit the „Fuggerei“.
